TWO THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE

I just watched a local movie which leading of two most sensational movie actor and actress nowadays, it’s Coco Martin and Sarah Geronimo; portraying the role of Tonio and Tep-tep in their movie “MAYBE THIS TIME”

Tonio and Tep-tep met in one summer, Stephanie aka Tep-tep given by Tonio to her.

A love story begun and end in one summer, because Tonio flew away to fulfill his dreams in life.

Way back on their story Tonio contradicting Tep-tep in her English Teaching lesson to the children in town.

Tonio narrated, instead of educational lesson why should teach them on HOW TO SWIM?

This is my own interpretation why he said HOW TO SWIM? If you see, schools teach us to become efficient, rather than to be effective. It is because, mandatory to know the historical value they are teachings; right?

Ok, here is the TWO THINGS ABOUT LIFE

Efficient vs Effective

Let me talk about schools again, you need to educate yourself because, you want to know something like; teaching on how to teach, pilot on how to fly and swimming on how to swim.

Education is one CYCLE TO SUCCESS like in what I wrote in my previous lesson in FOUR CYCLE OF SUCCESS.

Take a look on the story flow. Tonio literary was a poor guy abandoned by his mother and raised-up by his father alone. Tonio’s father was gifted in wood carving. Lack of intellectual intelligence Tonio acquires the ability of his father added of strong personality he holds in what Tep-tep admired him a lot.

About Tep-tep personality, she was a girl of called professionalism in why she was an efficient girl to me whom acquires a lot of knowledge, because it’s necessary to her profession.

After a couple of years, they met again but; Tonio was different from the guy she met before. If you notice these two individuals they have different personalities. I may call Tep-tep was an efficient girl and Tonio was an effective guy.

On their current life, Tep-tep was still engage in her chosen profession while, Tonio now owned his own wood craft business he dreamed before.

Comparison of the two individuals was Tep-tep facing hard time in her chosen career while, Tonio fulfill his dreams.

What is the difference of the two I mean being Efficient and Effective?

Ok, I’ll end up with a simple story…

There were two men challenged of traveling all towns in Batangas. One guy has an athleticism personality while the other man was lazy.

The athletic guy prepared to ride his bicycle and equipped all his paraphernalia in his 6 days long travel in all towns of Batangas.

On other hand, the lazy man prepared nothing instead of sleeping in his own room.

The day of preparation was started the athletic man takes advantage over the lazy man; still the lazy man was sleeping in his room. One day morning the lazy man started-up his things for his travel and he chose to ride on a motor cycle bike he owned.

Questions:

• Who will enjoy the ride?

• Who will take advantage?

• And who will still have an extra time to explore the town of Batangas?

Yes, honestly speaking the lazy man. The lazy man was not meant lazy because he knew the difference between being an efficient and effective. Move to the athletic man, there’s no doubt on the capability athletic man holds but because, he knew he is knowledgeable and relying on his physical body he think it’s best to ride on a bicycle.

The BIGGEST mistake you can do about your life is too much relying on your own knowledge.

On the other side, lazy man thought why I need to ride if I’m not enjoying it? Why I need to suffer myself if I have option rather than a bike? And Why I need to hurry-up if I have time to explore the beauty of Batangas?

Intellectual people may also take a car rather than a motor bike or a bus. This makes sense in any part of your life. Yeah, you need to be efficient for you to know the rules and law but effective on how you do it right.

Hope you have better understanding about the two being efficient and effective.
