This is all about my kids’ goal on Christmas Day.
Most kids especially during holiday season wishing for a pleasant surprise from their God father, God mother, relatives and off course their parents.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
And time after time, year after year this moment commemorate in every part of the world today.
Father God, thank you for your son Jesus Christ; because in HIM we are saved.
I just challenged my kids for their special gift on Christmas day, which they need to thrift their allowances on school and save 100 pesos due date on December 25.
So, their reward should be a remote control car, something that they really, really want to have on Christmas day.
It was funny to say that when I came home, they immediately get their savings and counted in front of me.
My youngest son Gabriel has saved 103.00 pesos over of 3.00 pesos.
My oldest son Joseph has saved 173.00 pesos over of 73.00 pesos.
So I just get each of their 100.00 pesos and left the over.
I just said; what did you do to save that money?
Honestly speaking they got laughed and said; daddy I just asked some fellow here since it is Christmas day for sure they will give us money.
Actually I got laughed, truthfully to tell I didn’t said rules so they are free to choose best ways on how to save or earn that amount. Really, they are smart kids.
Congratulations my son you did it very well.
I challenged my kids not because I want them to be materialistic, but teach them early on a certain goal. It’s what we called CUMULATIVE SUCCESS.
I want them to learn and appreciate their hard work and effort, though they are kids but something that the elderly doesn’t have at all; it’s what we called EXCITEMENT”.
I too got learned in this challenge. I just forgot to be excited so, my son reminds me that way.
Yes, I learned a lot.
There is a passion, burning desire and excitement that the kids always have it at all. It’s not a problem to them whether it’s a small or big because, they think it as a challenge. Learn and act like a child that full of determination will do everything to get what they really, really want.
